Nick Lace, the film I made in affiliation with my bachelor of science. In this project I developed the characters for the film, operated a camera and I made most visual effects in post. The whole idea was that our main character evolves from being a street cop to badass special ops soldier. For the bachelor we studied how characters evolve in films, so we read literature such as The Hero with a Thousand Faces (1949) by Joseph Campbell and then we applied what we learned in a work of our own. We also analysed movies to see if they follow the monomyth and how much the deviate from it if they do.
